Now accepting proposal submissions for IVECCS 2023!
The IVECCS Program Committee is seeking proposals for presentation topics and ideas for IVECCS 2023 in Aurora, CO from September 7-11, 2023. Potential presenters are invited to submit their proposed topics and course descriptions for lecture, panel, workshop and lab sessions.
The theme for IVECCS 2023 is “Emergency and Critical Care and the Gastrointestinal Tract”. The program will continue to cover a wide variety of topics and levels to satisfy the needs of veterinary and technician specialists, advanced clinicians and technicians, general practitioners and support staff dedicated to, or having a special interest in, Emergency and Critical Care, Anesthesia and Analgesia, and Hematology and Transfusion Medicine. The program also includes non-clinical topics such as Professional Wellness, Ethics, Management and Leadership.

If your topics are not selected for IVECCS 2023, you will not receive an acceptance confirmation. Preference will be given to active VECCS members. All ACVECC speakers must be VECCS members to be considered. Compensation is based on number of hours presenting.
VECCS Purpose: To promote the advancement of knowledge and high standards of practice in veterinary emergency medicine and critical patient care. Toward this purpose, VECCS provides a forum where individuals can come together with the intention of establishing and promoting uniform standards and guidelines, foster and encourage education, research and scientific progress in veterinary emergency and critical patient care, and disseminate information pertinent to veterinary emergency and critical care to all interested groups and organizations.
IVECCS is the place where this purpose is carried out. In conjunction with VECCS, ACVECC, AVECCTN, IVAPM and AVHTM coordinate topics pertinent to their membership.
